Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie is depicted as the Virgin Mary in a controversial new painting by artist Kate Kretz.
Titled Blessed Art Thou, the painting is said to be a statement piece on the culture of "celebrity worship" and is to be unveiled at the Art Miami Fair tomorrow.
The actress's children - eight-month-old Shiloh, her baby with Brad Pitt, and adopted children, Maddox, five, and Zahara, two - feature as angels.
Jolie, 31, was chosen for her "unattainable beauty and the worldwide anticipation of her child".
