New galleries from Sao Paulo, Los Angeles, Oslo and Antwerp will join the line-up for the fifth Frieze Art Fair in London this autumn.

The fair, which has quickly established itself as a high-profile event attracting the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Jude Law alongside international collectors and dealers, will take place from 11 to 14 October in Regent's Park.

Contemporary art galleries representing more than 1,000 artists from China to Brazil will exhibit at the event, which is to be sponsored by Deutsche Bank for the fourth year.

More than 63,000 visitors attended last year's Frieze, which sold out on both the Saturday and the Sunday. Tickets for this year's fair will be on sale from 1 June.

Amanda Sharp, who founded the event with Matthew Slotover, said: "Frieze Art Fair showcases the best of what is new and exciting in contemporary art from all over the world. This year's list of exhibitors is our strongest so far."
