Sienna's the picture of a 21st century woman

Rashid Razaq, Evening Standard
6 Jul 2007

This photograph of Sienna Miller is to be added to the National Portrait Gallery collection as one of the 21st century personalities representing Britain.

The portrait of the 25-year-old actress will appear alongside those of TV presenters Richard and Judy, fashion designer Giles Deacon and film director Richard Curtis.

The photograph of the Factory Girl and Alfie star was originally taken by American photographer Valerie Phillips for the Nylon fashion magazine cover February edition.

It comes as Miller has been linked to American rapper P Diddy. The pair were recently seen together in the VIP room of the Paper nightclub following the Princess Diana memorial concert where Diddy performed. The pair have denied they are an item.

21st Century Portraits opens at the National Portrait Gallery on 22 July.

This is like saying she is representing the UK women. What is she famous for really? She is not a good actress and seems to be in more fashion mags than anyone else.
