Video: Art goes digital at the V&A's new exhibition

7 Dec 2009

The first digital design exhibition to be held at the Victoria and Albert Museum was unveiled today.

Pieces on display include a light and mirror installation which reflects a giant portrait of people and "Body paint" where visitors can throw virtual paint around and use their bodies to make screens change colour.

In the museum's grand entrance there is a screen featuring chains of digital code which shows popular words among internet users.

The exhibition, which opens to the public on Tuesday, includes more than 35 digital and interactive pieces.

It has three themes: works which use computer code, interactive pieces and ones based around modern communication.
