Death note is too long

More, much more, from ace Japanese director Shusuke Kaneto, spun from a highly popular 12-volume manga, about a college kid who kills wicked people by writing their names in a magic book. The androgynous Tatsuya Fujiwara plays him as in the first film and Kenichi Matsuyama is again the weird teen detective who tries to find out what's happening.

You may, too, since the plot is convoluted and the movie far too long. But there's a fair bit of quality work to be seen, particularly in the performances.
