The best thing about this American "comedy" is that it’s short. Jason Friedberg and Arron Seltzer, spurred on by the success of the lamentable Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans, have put almost as little effort into this rag-bag of skits on the hits of 2008 (Juno, Batman, Beowulf).

They’re namechecking, not satirising — we see "Hancock" rolling around in LA, mumbling that he’s drunk. That’s what he does in the movie, fellas. The revelation about Beowulf is that wearing no clothes is a bit "gay". Beavis and Butthead got away with this kind of thing because the jokes lasted for nano-seconds. Here, the idiocy just goes on and on.
