Eccentric comedy

Director Allan Moyle describes his eccentric comedy thriller as "a Canadian Trainspotting". Would that it were.
It has two young junkies (Scott Speedman and Wes Bentley) burying what they think is the dead body of an overdosed girlfriend (Taryn Manning), only to find a Satanic cult performing a ritual sacrifice on the very same spot.
They end up on the run from the Satanists, a drug dealer and a posse of very small security guards who work in the nearby shopping mall.
There are moments of ironic humour, but not many and it looks as if the screenplay is being made up as the cast plough through it.
