Gothic horror

Mexican film has recently undergone a renaissance, but this derivative ghost story about twin sisters and a haunted stretch of highway bucks the trend.

True, the heroine has great, starey eyeballs and the sweet old lady that she and her friend stumble upon provides a nice twist at the end.

But that's it in the way of shivery thrills. A demon brat scurries around in an attempt to right the wrongs of the past - surely it's a crime against children to make them appear in gothic horror this naff.
