Lorraine Levy's adaptation of her brother Marc's best-selling novel about two divorced Frenchmen, each with children, who live together in London and attempt to find new mates, tries so hard to be charming that it becomes annoyingly twee.

Vincent Lindon and Pascal elde play the odd couple, who bicker in a way that suggests they might be secret gay lovers. Virginie Ledoyen is the leading lady who gets Lindon in the end, and veteran Florence Foresti plays one of those parts where spunky graciousness is the order of the day.
