Rites of passage pass slowly

Critic Rating
Reader Rating 0

Clunkingly slow and pretentious rites-of-passage drama in which 13-year-old Logan (Malcolm Stumpf) poses as a woman to have phone sex with, and futilely plan his deflowering by an older boy.

Writer-director Cam Archer dwells disturbingly on Stump's mouth or sprawled limbs, and his self-conscious attempts at artistry are hamstrung by a lack of budget and pace.
