The Heavy is an unlikely tale

Ex-boxer Gary Stretch plays Boots, an ex-con who has served a term for manslaughter and is unable to forgive his politician brother (Adrian Paul) for his role in the prosecution.
The brother has a heart condition and only Boots can help with his bone marrow - but he refuses point blank. Then Stephen Rea's master criminal asks him to do one last job, which is to kill his brother, and a bearded Vinnie Jones appears as a corrupt detective trying to stop him.
This unlikely tale is written and directed by Marcus Warren, who makes Guy Ritchie seem like a master craftsman. Stretch tries hard to convince and Rea is good as the villain of the piece but this is essentially a botched effort.
