Deliberately dodgy sets and tongue-in-cheek dialogue adorn this space giggle harking back to Eagle Comics and Dan Dare.

James Vaughan is Captain Eager, brought out of mothballs to board his wobbly rocket and do something about Colonel Regamun, who is out to ruin everything in the Veritan Sector. Space-dog Scamp is the best performer in this B-movie parody, directed by Simon DaVison in C-movie style. Forty minutes would have been quite enough.
