The Good, the Bad and the Queen

The last weekend of gigs before the wrecking ball swings and one more renowned London venue is lost. The Fall play the last-ever gig on Sunday, but this is a more appropriate farewell, given that Paul Simonon of the Clash plays bass in Damon Albarn's latest project. Sensitive Chicago rockers who, like fellow emo figureheads My Chemical Romance, have expanded their sound on latest album Infinity on High and seen their sales figures expand accordingly. They've formed unlikely unions with rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West, but the crunching guitars and lengthy song titles remain.
