Donny and Marie roll back 25 years
14 August 2007
The musical siblings performed on the Today Show in Las Vegas as The Osmonds reunited for the first time in 25 years. Last night's show was the first of three sold-out performances.
"It's very emotional," Donny, 49, told Today co-host Meredith Vieira in an interview. "I remember that last tour. We didn't realise when we stopped that it would be 25 years."
The brother and sister presented the Donny & Marie Show on ABC from January 1976 to May 1979.
The Osmond brothers enjoyed a string of hits in the Seventies including Crazy Horses, while Donny went to number one in 1972 with Puppy Love.
