Florence Welch has 'no life' due to work schedule

She was one of the top performers at the BRITs last night, but Florence Welch has complained that her busy work schedule has left her with "no life"

The 25-year-old singer has had a relentless schedule since releasing her second album with Florence + The Machine, Ceremonials, in October, including suffering the break-up of her relationship with literary editor Stuart Hammond.

The album topped the charts, as did their debut Lungs, and the band are about to begin a UK tour before heading to Europe and the US.

But speaking after the BRITs at the Universal Music party at the Tate Modern, she told the Standard: "This is all amazing, and I wouldn't change anything. But I basically have no life. It's a bit, you know, but I suppose it does make me a little bit sad."

Florence performed No Light No Light and made several costume changes throughout the evening, including a glamorous gown created by Sarah Burton, the Alexander McQueen designer who was behind the Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress.
