It's Kylie Monroe in blonde highlight to video

Kylie Minogue once again proved she was the queen of reinvention as she unveiled her new look in the video for her comeback single.

With blonde curls and a gash of red lipstick, she was obviously inspired by Marilyn Monroe for her video for 2 Hearts - the first song to be released from her 10th studio album, X.

Fresh from her Q awards glory, Minogue launched her 40th UK single on ITV. X is the first album she has released in four years following her battle with breast cancer and 2 Hearts will be released on 12 November.

Introducing the video on GMTV, she said: "It is all very exciting and I hope you like it."

Minogue, 39, received a Q Idol award in a London ceremony this week and also visited a school of performing arts in Croydon. She follows fellow pop stars Madonna and Gwen Stefani in copying Monroe's look.
