The singer-songwriter, who has drawn comparisons with the Scissor Sisters, clung on to the number one singles spot with Grace Kelly.
Last month the song reached number one through download sales, before the CD version had even hit the shops.
This followed in the footsteps of Gnarls Barkley, the first act to score a UK number one on downloads alone.
This week, Beirut-born Mika's album Life In Cartoon Motion also shot into pole position. Critic's favourite Bloc Party entered at number two with album A Weekend in the City, and Fall Out Boy entered at number three with Infinity on High.
And music is the food of love in this week's album chart, in the run-up to Valentine's Day. Veteran crooners were in big demand in the rush for romantic albums ahead of Wednesday.
When I Fall in Love, the album by soprano Lesley Garrett, entered the chart at number 11. Meanwhile, Phil Collins went in at number 19 with Love Songs.
Rod Stewart's album, If We Fall in Love Tonight, dropped just one place this week, from 35 to 36. And Britain's answer to Frank Sinatra, the late Matt Monro, made an appearance in the top 40, with the album From Matt with Love at number 39.
Last week, Norah Jones's third album Not Too Late became the 800th to hit the number one spot in the UK chart. This week it slipped to number four.
Amy Winehouse's soulful Back to Black stayed at number five. The singles chart also saw Kaiser Chiefs enter at number two with Ruby, Just Jack's Starz in Their Eyes remained at three and Fall Out Boy dropped two places to number four with This Ain't A Scene It's An Arms Race.
Mason sat tight at number five with Exceeder and The Fray jumped up four places to six with How To Save A Life.
JoJo dropped one place to number seven with Too Little Too Late and Dundee four-piece The View also fell a place to eight with Same Jeans.
R and B singer Akon featuring Snoop Dogg stayed at nine with I Wanna Love You. Akon also appeared in collaboration with Gwen Stefani, whose single The Sweet Escape made a gargantuan leap from number 23 to 10.
