Paul Weller's rocker son attacks celebrity children as 'monsters'

The eldest son of Paul Weller today labelled some children of famous people "monsters" as he launched his own rock career.
Natt Weller, 23, is recording his debut album but claims it owes nothing to his father's career and he has not been pampered like some offspring. He insists his 53-year-old father's working class roots helped him keep his feet on the ground.
"If you want something you have to work for it. I've met some other kids and they are really f***ed up by drinking and partying. "I look at some people and think, 'I got off lucky'."
He added: "I can't name names, but some of them are monsters. I was talking to one at a party recently and she started talking about her chef. I was like, 'What are you talking about? I don't have a chef'.
"I've done stuff and I've had a different life from most people, but I'm not one of these attention-seeking, vacuous drama queens."
The young singer is on the verge of signing a contract with Universal Music after he was spotted by UK chairman David Joseph. Natt's mother Dee C Lee is a former backing singer with Wham! and his father's old band The Style Council. His parents divorced in 1998 and he grew up in Holland Park, remaining on good terms with them. He left school at 16 to work for a record label before landing a modelling contract at 18.
Natt, who appeared onstage with his father at the age of 12, says his new material is very different from his father's. And he insists he is not living in his shadow. "He's my dad. I don't have a chip on my shoulder. That's not my point to prove," he said. Weller also has a daughter, Leah, from his marriage to Lee and another daughter, Dylan, from a short-lived relationship with a make-up artist.
Weller has two children, Jesamine, 10, and seven-year-old son Stevie with Samantha Stock who he split with in 2008 after 13 years.
He met his current wife, Hannah Andrews, when she provided backing vocals for his 22 Dreams album in 2008. Last month she gave birth to twin boys John Paul and Bowie.
