The pick of the pubs for a really good pint

The best real ale pubs in London are named today. The Campaign for Real Ale has been publishing a guide to the finest UK pubs since 1974 - and two in the capital have been in every year.
One is the Star Tavern in Belgravia, a Grade II-listed building reputed to be where the Great Train Robbers laid their plans. The other is the Buckingham Arms, Westminster. Another London hostelry is Camra's top pub of the year. The Bricklayers Arms in Putney is "a perfect backstreet local".
Good Beer Guide editor Roger Protz said: "For any pub to have appeared in every edition is remarkable."
Other recommended London pubs for 2008 are: Old Mitre, EC1; Old Bank of England, EC4; Compton Arms, N1; Nightingale, E11; Bridge House, SE1; Dog & Bell, SE8; White Horse, SW6.

Not a bad pub indeed. However the beer could be served a little colder.
