Description: London boasts a few of these lively modern pubs, of which many -- unusually for a corporately-owned chain -- have their own distinct character. Of course, there are similarities -- every branch has sofas, a menu that majors in wood-fired pizzas, DJs, art displays, a big screen TV and computer games -- but the each location has developed differently (often based on their former incarnations). The Kennington branch, for example makes a feature of its huge roof terrace overlooking the Imperial War Museum, while the funky Chinatown interloper has a big 'crush bar' area suited to West End drinking.
