Description: With around 50 branches, Davy's can claim to be the big daddy of the London wine bar world. A few modern ventures aside, most of their branches come in a pretty much Identikit olde-worlde style -- complete with sawdust on the floor -- which suits many of their ancient-cellar locations very well. Their very predictability makes them a kind of default rendezvous for many City slickers, and many branches also have (perfectly OK) dining rooms.
