Four of the housemates will get the final say about who gets booted out of the Big Brother house tonight.

Six housemates face the public vote - Gerry Stergiopoulos, Carole Vincent, Brian Belo, Liam McGough, Kara-Louise Horner and Jonty Stern.

But the twist is that the remaining housemates, who have escaped the eviction vote by winning this week's tasks, will make the final decision.

Tracey Barnard, Ziggy Lichman and twins Sam and Amanda Marchant will have to decide who to save out of the two housemates who get the most votes from the public.

They will be told they have to make the final decision during tonight's show.

Last night the hungry housemates - who have been limited to basic rations - were able to earn extra food by guessing where Gerry's toy monkey Freddie and Jonty's Munkitty Tunkitty had gone on holiday.

The housemates were called into the Diary Room and given a postcard from the toys as a clue.

Brian and Liam were first up and the clue read: "Hello housies. We were like so totally tired when we arrived that we felt a bit lost, but we soon saw a 450ft sign that told us exactly where we were."

Liam quickly realised that Hollywood must be the holiday spot. The postcard went on: "We've been to the beach, Freddie waded too far out but fortunately a lady in a bright red swimsuit rescued him so everything turned out OK. The skies are so blue here and we saw so many stars. Love ya, Munkitty Tunkitty and Freddie."

The boys received a plate of cookies for rightly guessing Los Angeles. The twins then correctly guessed the monkeys had gone to Blackpool from their postcard.

"Are they actually there?" asked Amanda, amazed. "There's a picture of them in the sea," replied Sam. "We love Blackpool, Big Brother."

"Oh look, we've been there. I miss it," Amanda said, admiring the postcard.

The pair screamed with excitement when they were awarded some Blackpool rock for their success, which they noted approvingly was pink.

Amanda revealed to Big Brother: "We even saw how rock got made once."

"Wow it's actually from Blackpool," said Sam as she tucked into the treat, before adding: "It's dead gorge."

Jonty and Gerry were the third pair to take on the postcard challenge and won pizza for rightly guessing the teddies were in Pisa.

"Oh it's nice and warm! Look at the pepperoni!" shouted a happy Gerry, before thanking Big Brother in Italian.

But the rest of the hungry housemates were less impressed, as they were made to watch the pair tucking in to their cheesy treat on a plasma screen.

"This is like torture television station," moaned Brian. Carole and Tracey tucked into vegetable noodles when they guessed the monkeys were in China.

"Sorry Brian," they said between mouthfuls, knowing their meal was being watched by the others on the screen.

Later on, Jonty and Gerry were reunited with their travelling pals in the Diary Room and were given T-shirts with the slogan "My monkey went on holiday and all I got was this lousy T-shirt".

"He's got new shoes and a surfboard and a bag," cooed Jerry. "Look at his hat, he's so cool. Oh Freddie you look so cute."
