It was time for the Big Brother housemates to stand up and be counted as they continued their challenge to become ladies and gentlemen.

Slouching, lurching and tripping were out and deportment was in as they were asked to complete a mini-obstacle course in the garden with book firmly balanced on their heads, while carrying a large gin and tonic.

In Pictures: BB deportment task

Dressed in fetching tweed jackets for the event, all housemates completed the course successfully apart from Carole, who dropped her book once.
The course was the latest part of Big Brother's Finishing Academy, with a luxury food budget up for grabs.

It seems that one lady has her eye firmly fixed on a different prize, with housemates gossiping about Kara-Louise falling for one-time boy band member Ziggy.

Brian, Liam and Tracey could hardly contain their delight when they informed Ziggy they thought the upper-crust newcomer had the hots for him.

The house's ladies man could only reply: "She's weirding me out."

Later, Brian was pontificating on the fact his time in the Big Brother house will soon come to an end.

He said: ""We'd never live with each other 24 hours a day, every day. So I think we should enjoy living with each other. Because I think we do enjoy living with each other."

The only people I can understand it that house when they speak is Carol, Jonty and Kara-Louise. The others speak without coming up for breath. There are no full stops, commas - nothing - I have to put on the text subtitles to understand what they are saying.
