Chanelle denies romping with Ziggy

Chanelle appeared on Big Brother's Little Brother tonight and insisted that she had not had sex with fellow housemate Ziggy.

"No. Sorry to disappoint you. No. My mum would have kicked me out of my house," she told host Dermot O'Leary.

Fervent speculation had surrounded the Big Brother couple and Ladbrokes and Paddy Power paid out £70,000 between them to punters who predicted a "Big Brother bonk".

Chanelle left the Big Brother house yesterday after her split with former boyband member Ziggy.
Asked whether she thought she could have gone on to win the contest had she stayed in the house, she said: "I don't think so. I couldn't live there with Ziggy anymore."

She said that the dissolution of her relationship was not the only reason that she decided to walk out of the house.

"I don't think Carole was too happy with me either and I was just missing home a lot."

The 19-year-old from Wakefield looked shocked and embarrassed as she was shown footage of her tempestuous on-screen relationship.

"I mean I thought I were quite stable at times," she remarked of the footage of the couples' many arguments. Asked what she now thought of Ziggy, she said she felt the same as she had done before leaving.

"Not that pleased... with him, but with me as well." But she added: "I don't regret the relationship because he is actually quite nice."

She said that she still cares about Ziggy "a little", but said she did not think he cares about her. "I don't think he ever did."

The Victoria Beckham wannabe had expressed cynicism about his motives throughout their relationship and said that she believed that his behaviour was modified because of his desire to win the contest.

She was shown footage of Ziggy in the Diary Room after she had left. "I miss her I really do and I didn't think I would," he said.

"I said some things today which I really regret and I probably didn't get a chance to apologise and that is going to be hard to deal with."

Chanelle seemed unsure whether to believe his sincerity. "Maybe he did mean that, maybe he didn't. I dunno, I can't read his mind."

During the show Big Brother's Little Brother nicknamed Chanelle and Ziggy,

"Chiggy" and used a "Chiggy-ometre" to illustrate the highs and lows of the couple's relations. Chanelle was invited to destroy the pink and gold machine, which she did by throwing it off some scaffolding.

She described the experience as "violent". Dermot O'Leary told her that she would be missed for her tendency to have temper tantrums and showed footage of her many angry, tearful explosions.

Chanelle laughed as she watched the images of herself getting hysterical about such varied topics as other housemates, violin lessons and lentils.

"I thought I'd really kept myself quite controlled," she said.
