Previously, only Ziggy, Seany, Gerry and the twins were allowed to nominate, as Big Brother gave the privilege to new housemates. Bookmakers Paddy Power made millionaire Jonathan the 4/11 favourite to get the boot, closely followed by Seany at 3/1.
Spokeswoman Sharon McHugh said: "How Charley escaped eviction this week we'll never know, but Jonathan is now the firm favourite to get the axe this Friday. Late arrivals are rarely popular with viewers."
Liam is the latest favourite to win at 11/2, with the female population backing him in droves, the bookmakers said. The housemates were left exhausted and cold yesterday as they carried out the task of swimming the Channel to earn a luxury shopping budget for the week.
The contestants have to swim the equivalent of the 34km (21 mile) distance between Dover and Calais in the Big Brother pool and had completed 4919 of the 7566 laps by yesterday afternoon.
Charley had a crisis when her hair extensions came out in the water. She sobbed in the Diary Room: "I'm not happy at all." She told Big Brother: "It doesn't usually happen when I go to the swimming pool.
"My extensions are sewn in. The hairdresser plaits the hair and then sews the hair in, yeah? Now the hair has gone all tangled into one big ... I can't get it out. It's gone all matted."
She then went to the bathroom to sort out the mess, leaving clumps of fake hair all over the floor.
