Let’s claim for our time too, says a victim

Some Standard Life' investors had lost up to £37,000 before today's compensation agreement.

One had set up an internet campaign, Sterling One Fund Blog, to bring publicity to the cause. Today investors logged in to discuss their recovered funds.

A blogger on standardlifepensionvictims.org responded cautiously: "Good news, but the financial services industry isn't going to recover easily. I wonder if this would have happened [before] the internet."

On moneysavingexpert.com, ShaunRC said: "Congratulations to everyone who complained! [But] we should also claim for our time spent complaining. [Standard Life] should have some form of punishment for wasting our time."
