London salaries are on rise, says Reed

Salaries are growing in London, according to the London Reed Job Index today.

The index is at 105, having opened at 100 a year ago.

Reed said skills shortages are pushing up pay with salaries in consultancy and retail up 20% on the start of 2010.

Martin Warnes of Reed said: "Jobs growth and new salaries in London have outpaced the UK as a whole, driven by returning private sector demand."
