New man in driving seat at Northgate

Northgate, the light commercial vehicle hire company that rents to the likes of White Van Man, today named group finance director Bob Contreras as chief executive.

Northgate credits Contreras with making a "significant contribution" to its refinancing efforts last year. Deputy chief executive Paul Tallentire, who had been running the business, is quitting as part of the shake-up.
