According to the Sun newspaper, notes scrawled on the back of a production running order for the Channel 4 show claim "some dodgy clips do exist. We are f*****".
The paper said the notes allege Shilpa, who emerged as the show's winner on Sunday, was called a "f****** Paki" in one incident. The evidence was taken to the police by an anonymous tipster, the Sun claimed.
A Hertfordshire Police spokeswoman confirmed they had been handed some further information, which they will look into as part of their continuing investigation but gave no details.
A Channel 4 spokeswoman said there was no evidence in their log of the word being used. She said: "We have not been contacted by the police about this matter or seen a copy of the handwritten note that we understand has been passed to them."
