The launch party will offer the opportunity to enjoy Maker's Mark cocktails in the Brighton Coalition VIP area, whilst taking in an intimate performance of the deep acoustics of Terry Callier and distinctive vocals of Alice McLaughlin, described as the modern Janice Joplin'.

The launch party promises an electrifying preview to the boutique Beachdown Festival, which takes place on 28 – 31 August 2009 at a seaside location on the South Downs. Now in its second year, the Beachdown Festival presents a diverse line-up of music, film and comedy entertainment which captures in one weekend the full range of global and local influences that Brighton has to offer.

As part of the VIP package, the winner of the Maker's Mark competition will receive one night's stay in the chic surroundings of Brighton's Pelirocco Hotel, in addition to two bottles of Maker's Mark to take away with you so that you and a friend can wax lyrical about the night for days to come.
