The Shockwaves NME Awards Shows 2008 kick off nationally on February 1st and you could be at one of these amazing gigs!

This is London has teamed up with headline sponsors, Shockwaves, to give you the chance to win a pair of tickets to see either Babyshambles, New Young Pony Club, The Horrors or The Kooks in London.

The Shockwaves NME Awards Shows 2008 have the well earned reputation for taking the best music talent to London, in a month long festival of music.

This year for the first time ever, Manchester and Glasgow will also host award shows so music fans can experience a stellar line up with more than 120 brilliant bands, over 32 nights, in 3 major cities, building the ultimate buzz ahead of the awards on February 28th.

Lucky winners will win a pair of tickets to their chosen gig plus shed loads of Shockwaves hairstyling products including Shockwaves Ultra Strong Tuff Stuff Gel and Shockwaves Ultra Strong Power Hold Hairspray to create indie-rock' inspired styles, ensuring you look the part.

Terms and Conditions

- This competition is open to all residents in the UK over 18 years of age, excluding employees of Procter & Gamble, their immediate families and any other agencies connected with this promotion. Entries must not be sent through agents or third parties. Any such entries will be invalid.

- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Last date for receipt of entries is two days before corresponding concert. All entries received by this date will be entered into a prize draw and the winners randomly selected will win: One pair of standard tickets to the Shockwaves NME Awards Tour Show 2008 at one of the following gigs:

11th Feb - Babyshambles - Brixton Carling Academy
12th Feb - New Young Pony Club - Koko - London
16th Feb - The Horrors - London Astoria
25th Feb - The Kooks - London Astoria

Only two pairs of tickets available per venue/date

All winners to receive Shockwaves products (products to be sent within 28 days of the gig date)

- Prize winners must ensure that they are available all day on the selected gig date as we are unable to confirm the time of the meet and greet prior to the day itself
- Only one prize per person, per household
- Shockwaves/NME will not be held responsible for any loss of tickets, winners arriving late to a specified meet and greet time or to any winners arriving late to the gig
- Please allow 28 days for delivery.
- No cash alternative
- Tickets are strictly not for re-sale and are non-transferable to other persons or other event dates
- Subject to availability
- Winners may need to show ID to prove you are over 18 to gain entry to the gig
- Organisers can refuse admission to meet and greets and/or the gig due to inappropriate behaviour.
