Promising radio newcomers have been shortlisted for the coveted Sony DAB Rising Star' award by an independent panel of UK radio broadcasting experts including BBC Radio 1's Colin Murray, renowned radio legend Tony Blackburn and TV personality Danny Wallace.

Phil Clifton who presents his own early breakfast show on XFM

Oxford FM's Rosie Tratt who has made her name on Girls Talk Sundays' and The Wake Up' Presenter on the breakfast show
Chris Younie who presents You Call The Hits', an interactive request show on the UK's biggest digital radio station, The Hits on Key 103
The unique Singing Henry who co-hosts the afternoon weekday show and features as the Singing Travel reporter on Kerrang Radio.
The winners will be announced on Monday, May 11th 2009.
