X-PERI-MENTAL Playlist is a new music initiative devised by Nando's offering a unique platform for exciting and emerging artists to showcase their talent. West London rapper Example is the first act to team up with X-PERI-MENTAL Playlist.
Arriving into the public consciousness in 2006 with his self released single I Don't Want To', Example received plays on Radio 1 by Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Jo Whiley, while being offered major record deals and finally settling with Mike Skinner's (The Streets), The Beats label.
Example's second single You Can't Rap' was released in March 2007 and his debut album What We Made' at the end of last year. He has performed live all over the UK supporting The Fratellis, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Plan B, The Streets, Metronomy, De La Soul, Arrested Development and Hadouken.
Also appearing on the night are Hackney five-piece Black Cherry. Their sound is a refreshing blend of electro infused rock and they have supported Siouxsie, The Wombats and Akala.
Last but not least, Irish trio Good Tiger will be opening the event with their brilliant fusion of lo-fi kraut rock and folk-tronica.
