Win World Class event tickets

Britain is now regarded as one of the world's leading cocktail destinations and, on the 30th June, 16 of the country's top barmen will be battling it out to earn the coveted title of the UK's best bartender in the final of Diageo Reserve's World Class competition.

The competition will be judged by a panel of esteemed judges; including Michelin-starred chef Marco Pierre White; TV mixologist Andy Pearson; Bill Prince, Deputy Editor of GQ; Ian Cameron the Managing Editor of Theme (one of the industry's leading magazines) and Barrie Wilson, Reserve's Head of Brand Ambassadors.

Reserve Brands (including brands such as Tanqueray® No.Ten™, Johnnie Walker® Blue Label® blended Scotch whisky, Ketel One® and Cîroc® vodka) launched its World Class' bartender programme in September to recognise the incredible skill sets of bartenders across Britain.

Marco says "A truly great barperson needs to be as creative and skilful as a leading chef. The liquid masterpieces that these competitors are creating are quite something. These bartenders have incredible skill sets and this competition will allow them the chance to win the equivalent of a Michelin star – I'm excited to be a part of that."

Diageo is offering 10 lucky Standard.co.uk readers the chance to attend the competition at Kent House, London. Not only will you get the chance to meet the competition's formidable judge Marco Pierre White, but throughout the evening you'll be able to sample some of the best cocktails in the business - all made by the very best bartenders in the country.
