A Prada party

Not often do you get Nicholas Serota and Jaime Winstone in the same nightspot, but last Thursday's launch of the Double Club on an Islington backstreet saw them hobnobbing over a goat kebab.

The temporary dancing den/art installation (open until May 2009) is the brainchild of artist Carsten Höller, creator of last year's slides in Tate Modern's turbine hall.

Miuccia Prada, whose fondazione is backing the project, showed up at close to midnight to shake a tail feather with Alexander McQueen on the dancefloor. Quite the double act.
