A V&A opening and the First Light Movies Awards...

It was a family affair at the V&A as Sir Peter Hall turned out with his daughter for the opening of the museum's new Theatre and Performance Galleries.

Across town, other theatrical types gathered for the First Light Movies Awards (for junior film-makers) at the Odeon Leicester Square. Danny Boyle and Andrea Riseborough ate mini fish and chips at the after-party at Vertigo, as Sienna Miller and Michael Sheen added a touch of Hollywood glamour to proceedings.
