Not one to do things by half, Lanvin's creative genius Alber Elbaz took over art dealer Ivor Braka's Georgian townhouse in Chelsea to unveil his latest collection to his favourite London ladies. As willowy models sauntered along the balustrades, Samantha Cameron, Sheherezade Goldsmith and Sharleen Spiteri chatted.

By teatime the boys had arrived for a peek, and Mark Ronson and Dinos Chapman talked asymmetrical hemlines before sitting down to dinner with Rosamund Pike and Kristin Scott Thomas, fresh from the stage and screen respectively.
