Big man Tate
27.04.09
Still shaking off Pensionsgate, Lord Myners put on a brave face to give Anthony d'Offay the Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage award.
Having donated his £120 million collection of Hirsts, Freuds and Warhols to Tate Modern, d'Offay picked up the cheque for €15,000 on the gallery's 7th floor, declaring the importance of philanthropy, while Zandra Rhodes and Katherine Jenkins sang his praises.
