A troupe of dancers in Forties waistcoats and floaty dresses lit up the Leicester Square red carpet in time for the theatrical arrival of
Baz Luhrmann and his authentically Australian leading duo,
Hugh Jackman and
Nicole Kidman. In the style of a drive-in theatre, a big screen was set up to broadcast the arrival of
Elton John and
David Furnish to the mob of fans, followed by interviews with the cast. Post-production, Luhrmann hosted a drinks party at Sketch for his cast, crew and antipodean friends residing in London.
