Barry Humphries helped raise awareness for the Morecambe Bay cockle pickers at the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill last week.
On the fifth anniversary of the tragedy, a screening of Nick Broomfield's documentary Ghosts collected money to educate the children of the cocklers in China, hosted by the auteur, with a little help from London's favourite Chinaman, Sir David Tang.
