Pouring herself into a red dress, co-host Nigella Lawson wowed, despite stiff competition from Claudia Schiffer, who hosted her own girls' table, including Christina Estrada and Eva Herzigova. Mick's daughters Elizabeth and Georgia Jagger made a stunning pair, enjoying a meal of risotto and mini puddings.

After dinner, guests, including Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Camilla Fayed, witnessed a performance by The Royal Ballet, and a show of Westwood's newest Gold Label Collection, where models on towering stilts worked the catwalk before a hectic speech by Tracey Emin ended with her offering a private portrait and a visit to her studio as part of the £250,000 auction.
