Christmas is coming and the champagne is flowing. It was cheers all round at the first anniversary of The Warrior Programme, a charity that helps the homeless and ex-armed forces back on their feet. Katrina Boorman, trustee, brought her film director father John; Prince Charles sent his handsome equerry Will Mackinlay on an advance mission; and Damien Hirst sent his mother Mary Brennan. The fundraiser, held at mozzarella bar Obika, raised £20,000.

Meanwhile, Moët & Chandon launched the UK's first 'pop-up' champagne boutique (you can't move for 'pop-ups' these days) on New Bond Street to the sounds of DJs
Giles Deacon and
Alexa Chung. Guests including
Henry Holland and
Kris Marshall were treated to caviar, oysters and gold-flecked candyfloss.
