Turner time

All hail
Mark Leckey, the crown prince of British art, after he scooped the Turner Prize with his multimedia musings on icons of pop culture such as Felix the Cat and Homer Simpson.
Nicholas Serota beckoned
Nick Cave on to the stage of the Duveen sculpture hall in Tate Britain to award the prize, while
Alan Yentob and
Alison Goldfrapp washed down serrano ham with champagne. Former winner
Grayson Perry was full of praise for Leckey's blood art and blond highlights.
