This year's Metro Ski & Snowboard Show, which runs until Sunday at Olympia with 10 tonnes of real snow, has the usual heady mix.

Snowbombing will host its' Street Party at the Zillertal Apres Ski bar on Friday. There will be a 'gigloo' (gig in an igloo anyone?) with DJs from XFM and sets from the Altitude Comedy Festival.

The centre piece will be the Trespass Big Air competition 50ft kicker where you can watch professionals perform gravity defying tricks and the usual team of professionals will be on hand to advise on the latest ski and snowboarding gear with brands showcasing 09/10 kit, as well as the essential equipment.
