ABSOLUT ICEBAR: FIRST BIRTHDAY

Yes, it's a bar, it's made of ice and it's one year old. There's a celeb-y bash tonight, but you plebs can have a drink there some other time over the weekend if you want. You get no extra kudos for remarking how "cool" it is, by the way. Booking advised.

WHATNOTTOSHARE

Clubs all over the UK are helping to raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust by holding 'whatnottoshare' nights this weekend. Stars such as Lily Allen and Russell Brand and big name DJs Rob da Bank, Jon Carter and the Cuban Brothers are lending their support to the campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the dangers of taking cocaine. London clubs taking part in the event include Turnmills, the Koko club, Fabric, The Key and The Ministry of Sound.

I've always loved Nick Drake and his songs, but unfortunately I live too far away to be able to come.
