            Dita Von Teese

Dita Von Teese will be appearing in a high-kicking cabaret this weekend

Look here too

Young artists are hawking their wares at the Frieze Art Fair, Dita Von Teese kicks off her cabaret show and the filthy, gobby Merrill "Peaches" Nisker flies into town...

ART! EVERYWHERE!

Frieze
Regent's Park, NW1. Tonight-Sunday, 11am-7pm.
Zoo
London Zoo, Regent's Park, NW1. Friday-Sunday, 11am-8.30pm.
Scope
Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, E1. Tonight-Sunday 11am-8pm.

You cannot move for trendy young artists hawking their wares at the moment. Frieze is the major draw attracting all the major international buyers, though novice collectors might do as well to head to the nearby Zoo (which is in London Zoo, so you can look at the elephants if you get bored) or Scope in Brick Lane, which both focus on emerging talent.

DITA VON TEESE
Koko, 1a Camden High Street, NW1. Sunday, 7pm
The most famous stripper - sorry, burlesque star - in the world makes her London debut with a highkicking cabaret show amid the plush red velvet of Mornington Crescent. The wife of shockrocker Marilyn Manson, Ms von Teese seems well on track to overtake her hubby's celebrity; you have to admit, she's far better looking. 0870 432 5527

PEACHES
Forum, 9-17 Highgate Road, NW5. Friday, 7pm.
Simply the filthiest, gobbiest, most screwed-up young lady in pop, Merrill "Peaches" Nisker flies into town to promote her third album, Impeach My Bush. Her minimalist electro pulses and cathartic yelling combine to make music that's smarter than that weak pun would suggest. F**k the Pain Away, suggests one of her songs. 020 7284 1001
