Man on a mission: Lawrence Barraclough

It's members only at new exhibition

This is London
22 Feb 2007

You'd no doubt be arrested for bearing your bits in public but, when it comes to art, anything goes.

Lawrence Barraclough, the filmmaker responsible for the groundbreaking film My Penis and I, is urging men to snap their chap for a new photography exhibition.

Willing participants have been asked to post their anonymous images on, www.snapyourchap.com, which will then be showcased in an exhibition at the Foundry gallery in Shoreditch.

Any visitors who have missed out on the mass flash will be able to bare all in a specially-designed photo booth, which will be set up in the gallery.

The exhibition has been organised as part of Barraclough's follow-up film My Penis And Everybody Else's.

The original film saw Lawrence tackle his insecurities about the size of his manhood.

The new documentary will explore why the male penis remains a taboo subject and will attempt to discover whether size really does matter.

The Foundry, 86 Great Eastern Street, EC2A. 24 to 27 February. Visit www.snapyourchap.com to post your picture
