THE HOTHOUSE
From 11 July, Lyttelton Theatre, SE1, 7.30pm £10-£22 (020 7452 3000, www.nationaltheatre.org.uk)

Unease, laughter and shifting allegiances are the order of the evening for Pinter's 1958 play, completed just before The Caretaker but not produced until 1980. Fascinating to see what a belting cast, including Lia Williams and Stephen Moore, with Ian Rickson in the director's chair, makes of his early musings on the politics of bureaucracy.
