The V & A celebrates the glory years of British and Parisian fashion with an exhibition that takes its name from the designer Christian Dior's description of the golden age' of haute couture.
In what should be a fascinating and historical collection, an array of stylishly-made gowns and garments will go on display to the public, including full skirts which were considered a luxury during the period.
The event runs until early 2008 and will also feature tailoring designs from world renowned designers such as Givenchy and Pierre Balmain.
