Following on from the success of the Tour de France staging and the Red Bull Air Race, the capital gets its first ever chance to stage the Race of Champions.
Drivers from across all forms of motor racing including Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard and Jenson Button from Formula 1 and world rally ace Colin McRae, will compete in identical cars around a specially made race track.
A massive four thousand tonnes of asphalt is being prepared to make the track for what should be a fantastic spectacle full of thrills and spills.
